~~~AUTHOR INTERVIEW~~~
Geri:     What inspires you the most to write?
Raymond:        I get up early in the morning, and the ideas are just there. I've often
                            sensed that someone is standing behind me, looking over my
                            shoulder as I write. When I first started writing, someone would tell me
                            what to write. I would argue that it's not what I want to write, and then
                            ultimately, I would see the wisdom of their suggestions, and write what
                            I was told to write. Now, I just listen and write.
Geri:                   Who is your favorite author?
Raymond:        I can't pin this down to one answer. It's sort of like asking, which
                            President is your favorite. One runs the risk of offending someone.
                            So, I've always liked Hemingway. I learned to write from him. D.H.
                            Lawrence, John Passos, and many of our present day authors. They
                            all have something to say, and possess a unique way of saying it.
Geri:                   If you were to write in a different genre, what would it be?
Raymond:       Poetry, as I've written quite a bit of it, often serving as a catharsis,
                           after a love affair gone southwest. Also, a satire with animals, like
                           Animal Farm. Science fiction too, has always intrigued me, but I find
                           it has its limitations.
Geri:                 Did you enjoy reading as a child?
Raymond:      Immensely! My father and mother read voraciously. When I was a
                          teenager, my mother enrolled me in something like the Book Of The
                          Month Club, only for young adults and each month I would get this
                          fantastic biography, like one on Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain
                          Boys. Things like that fired my imagination as did stamp collecting,
                          because sometimes a new stamp would come out on a book that
                          I just read.
Geri:              Do you have current work in progress?
Raymond:    Currently, I am working on a self-help book to aid veterans, seeking
                        benefits from the Department Of Veterans Affairs(VA). Also, I have a
                        sequel in progress for "A THIRST FOR WAR." The title is called, "IN
                        THE HANDS OF THE WOLF." When I was a social worker in Ohio
                        prison some forty years ago, I wrote a prison novel. Recently, I dug
                        out my old 5" floppy disks, got them converted to CD-ROM, and started
                        making an outline. This is something I didn't do before. Now, I'm
                        rewriting the book. I'm outlining several more books: a thriller on
                        Chartres Cathedral; a VA critique; fiction:  the  Monet Merchants, about
                        people working for the VA;  a book on my ex-wife's idiot family; a book
                        called FINDING LOVE AGAIN, about how my wife and I met. Also, running
                        around in the back of my mind is a satire on our society, something
                        like Animal Farm.
Geri:              Thank you kindly for your time. I wish you much success.
Raymond:    You're welcome.
~~~AUTHOR INTERVIEW~~~

Geri:     What inspires you to write?

Deanie:     I'd like to become a role model for children, so they know that anything is possible if
                  you persevere. I don't think this message is emphasized in today's world, so many
                  children may not reach their dreams, because they are not encouraged to do so.

Geri:         Who is your favorite author?

Deanie:      I love reading books by former 'First Lady' Barbara Bush. She writes with wisdom,
                   and humor.

Geri:         If you were to write in a different genre, what would it be?

Deanie:      I am most comfortable writing for children, but maybe I'd also like to write something
                   to inspire young adults.

Geri:         Did you enjoy reading as a child?

Deanie:     Yes, I loved amusing stories, and tales with happy endings. I think reading can take
                  you on a lot of adventures you wouldn't otherwise experience, so you can explore all
                  kinds of new areas.

Geri:        Do you have current work in progress?

Deanie:     Yes, my next book "CHARLENE THE STAR" is nearly completed. My sister, Holly
                  Humphrys-Bajaj, illustrates my books, and she's just finishing the last picture for it.

Geri:        Thank you very much for your time. I wish you much success in your writing journey.

Deanie:     You're welcome.

~~~AUTHOR INTERVIEW~~~
Geri:     What inspires you the most to write?
Domonique:     My life experiences that I feel could be made into a story. Children also inspire
                         me to write, as well as reading other stories.
Geri:           When did you first realize that you wanted to be a writer?
Domonique:      I was writing poems starting back in 2008. I was in my last year at the University
                          of Michigan Art & Design school. I was working on a script for my movie 'Short'
                          as my final senior project. I was doing a lot of research on writing for the screen.
                          I had a lot of stories, but never really thought about writing them down. So, I really
                          began writing when I was also writing my movie 'Short' script. I landed my first
                          children's book illustration gig with the author of the book "LJ and the
                          Dreammaker, six months after I graduated, and I worked with the author for
                          about a year. I really enjoyed illustrating for children's books, and realized in
                          November of 2009 that I had a childhood story to share, and I began to write it.
                          I finished the manuscript in December and put it away for a few months, then
                          I contacted a self-publishing company to publish it. Once my book was released,
                          I realized that I love to write for children, so I began to write more and decided
                          to turn it into a series. I will continue to work on this project.
Geri:                  Who is your favorite author?
Domonique:        One of my favorite children's book authors is Barbara Park of the 'Junie B.
                            Jones book series.'
Geri:                  If you were to write in a different genre, what would it be?
Domonique:       Comic book series, a teen autobiography, a science fiction fantasy. I have already
                            started to write for the screen, but just need to continue. I sort of put it on the
                            back burner for the moment.
Geri:                   Do you have current work in progress?
Domonique:        I have started working on the manuscripts for my second and third books
                            called Pooky, 'In October and Pooky.' I am thankful for my 'Pooky book
                            series.'
Geri:               Thank you for your time. I wish you much success in your writing goals.
Domonique:    You're welcome.
**INTERVIEW with Author SANDI GREENBERG, RYT**
It is with Great pleasure and an Honor to Interview Author Sandi Greenberg.
Author of:     "YOUR YOGA EXPERIENCE"
                       52 Comprehensive Lessons For Lifelong Practice
http://www.noplacelikeomyoga.com/
http://www.amazon.com/
~~~AUTHOR INTERVIEW~~~

Geri:     What inspires you the most to write?

Sandi:        I was inspired to write "YOUR YOGA EXPERIENCE" by my desire to share yoga with
                 others. I have benefited immeasurably from all aspects of yoga and realized that I could only
                 reach a limited number of people in my classes, where a book has far reaching possibilities.
                 Most people associate yoga with only the physical practice, and it is indeed a wonderful
                 exercise program. However, I believe it's the philosophical focus, interwoven with that
                 physical practice. Most important, its application off the yoga mat and into a person's life
                 that is the most transformational experience of all. That is what I try to convey in my book
                 and how I structure my classes, by highlighting the mind-body connection. The physical
                 postures, the breathing techniques, the meditation, and the world view. It's all yoga. This is
                 the peace of mind and happiness I hope to share through my writing. In addition, I saw that
                 new teachers were having difficulty putting together their lessons and as a retired English
                 teacher, lesson plans are a part of my thinking process. By creating a book of lesson plans,
                  they could observe the structure of a class until they were ready to use the template as
                 a springboard for their own ideas. There is nothing else like this available on the market, so
                 I hoped to fill this need for them.

Geri:            When did you first realize that you wanted to be a writer?

Sandi:           As an undergraduate, I had written a lot of poetry and thought someday to have it published.
                    As a graduate student, various professors suggested publishing some of my research papers,
                    which I never did. But the seed was planted that someday, I would like to write and publish
                    my writings. Once I started writing lessons for my yoga classes, which included yoga
                    philosophies and their applications on-and-off of the yoga mat, I knew that I would need to
                    share them with others.

Geri:             Who is your favorite author?

Sandi:          My favorite poet has always been Walt Whitman, which tells me that perhaps, I've always
                   had the soul for yoga. Favorite fiction writers are more difficult to name, because there are
                   so many that I enjoy and appreciate, from the classics to modern writers. I enjoy fiction with
                   a message, Lionel Shriver, Carol Shields, and Alice Walker. Also, I enjoy Tony Morrison.
                   In general, though it's easier to mention specific books, rather than authors: THE NAME OF
                   THE ROSE(Eco), PILLARS OF THE EARTH(Follett), JITTERBUG PERFUME(Robbins),
                   THE GEOGRAPHER'S LIBRARY(Fasman), THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA(Goldman),
                   THE DOGS OF BABEL(Parkhurst). For non-fiction, I mainly read books on yoga.

Geri:            If you were to write in a different genre, what would it be?

Sandi:          Like so many English teachers and lit. majors, I've entertained the idea of writing a novel,
                   so who knows what else will come out some day?

Geri:            Do you have current work in progress?

Sandi:          I continue to write lessons for my classes and hope to publish another volume of '52 more
                   comprehensive lessons for lifelong practice.' I have made an additional '52 philosophies
                   and their applications to daily life' into a box set of cards, in addition to the card set for the
                   first 52 from the book.

Geri:         Thank you for your time with today's interview. Your work is very impressive. I wish you
                 much success!

Sandi:        You're welcome.

~~~AUTHOR INTERVIEW~~~
Geri:     What inspires you the most to write?
W.G. Griffiths:    That's like asking me what inspires me to eat and breathe. Writing is how I get the stories
                          out of  my mind. If I don't write, it becomes like rush hour on the Long Island Expressway.
Geri:               Who is your favorite author?
W.G. Griffiths:       Probably Crichton
Geri:                   Do you have current work in progress?
W.G. Griffiths:        Yes! I'm currently doing the authorized bio of hall of fame jockey, Angel Cordero Jr.
                               What an amazing life of winning through adversity.
Geri:                      Did you enjoy reading as a child?
W.G. Griffiths:        Yes, but selectively. There was nothing I loved more than comics for their imagination,
                               and pace. I was too bouncing off the walls to read anything that wasn't fantastic.
                               Huckleberry Finn was fantastic.
Geri:                      If you were to write in a different genre, what would it be?
W.G. Griffiths:         As it is, I have written:  Mystery, Supernatural, Action, Adventure, Young Adult,
                               Historical Fiction, Science Fiction, Non-fiction Drama, Tragedy, and working
                               on a bio. So, I guess whatever story excites me is the one I want to write.
Geri:                      Thank you very much for your time. I wish you much success in your journey of
                              writing.
W.G. Griffiths:         You're welcome.
