*INTERVIEW with Author LESLIE KOHLER*

It is an honor, and with great pleasure to interview Author Leslie Kohler.
INTERVIEW
Geri: Did a special person in your life inspire you to write?
Leslie: I had two teachers who encouraged me, Mrs. Kesthler, and Mrs.
Morgan.
Geri: When did you first realize that you wanted to be a writer?
Leslie: In third grade, I made a book titled "Poems Around The World."
Geri: How many books have you written?
Leslie: One, working on my second.
Geri: Who is your favorite author?
Leslie: Many, but Raymond Chandler is classic.
Geri: As writers, we begin with a manuscript, and end in promotions.
What was your most difficult task?
Leslie: Learning how to promote my book, without spending a fortune.
Social networking is great, because it's free.
Geri: Did you have favorite books as a child?
Leslie: Definitely the Nancy Drew books.
Geri: Do you have any current work in progress?
Leslie: Besides promoting SINS OF THE BORDER, I'm working on a
new mystery titled "DISPOSABLE LIVES."
Geri: Is writing a passion, a stress-reliever, or both?
Leslie: I'd say a passion, as I can't imagine a better way to explore my
inner thoughts, my past, and weave them into a creative tale.
Geri: What factors place you in the comfort zone while writing?
Leslie: The first forty-five minutes, I'm up-and-down, like a jumping
bean. Then I settle into a groove, almonds are always good to
munch on while writing.
Geri: Have you written any books based on a true life story?
Leslie: "SINS OF THE BORDER" is fiction, but several traits of the main
character, Lila, are taken from me.
Geri: Thank you very much for today's interview. I wish you much
success in your writing endeavors.
Leslie: You're welcome.
