~~~AUTHOR INTERVIEW~~~
Geri:     What inspires you to write?
Deanie:     I'd like to become a role model for children, so they know that anything is possible if
                  you persevere. I don't think this message is emphasized in today's world, so many
                  children may not reach their dreams, because they are not encouraged to do so.
Geri:         Who is your favorite author?
Deanie:      I love reading books by former 'First Lady' Barbara Bush. She writes with wisdom,
                   and humor.
Geri:         If you were to write in a different genre, what would it be?
Deanie:      I am most comfortable writing for children, but maybe I'd also like to write something
                   to inspire young adults.
Geri:         Did you enjoy reading as a child?
Deanie:     Yes, I loved amusing stories, and tales with happy endings. I think reading can take
                  you on a lot of adventures you wouldn't otherwise experience, so you can explore all
                  kinds of new areas.
Geri:        Do you have current work in progress?
Deanie:     Yes, my next book "CHARLENE THE STAR" is nearly completed. My sister, Holly
                  Humphrys-Bajaj, illustrates my books, and she's just finishing the last picture for it.
Geri:        Thank you very much for your time. I wish you much success in your writing journey.
Deanie:     You're welcome.
